Financial Contributions
The requested contributions per term from September 2007 are as follows and do not include class trips, GCSE exam costs, outward bound activities and some smaller material costs.
Please note that these are intended to be contributions to the cost of providing the entire education, and the sums requested do not reflect the cost of providing the education on an individual or class basis. You are not being asked to pay for the education of your child, but to contribute collectively to the cost of keeping the school going.

A practical contribution is also expected from all parents. This comprises class-based help (attendance of meetings and cleaning) as well as helping at the all-school fundraising events. We also ask you give 5 hours per term at Saturday work days and some time to a mandate group of your choice. All this will be discussed more fully in your first term at the school.
Support of a third kind is also needed: that each parent holds the well-being of the School in their consciousness.
Contributions for families on low incomes: The school's ideal is to be socially inclusive and to welcome families from a wide range of financial backgrounds. For those on low incomes there is the possibility of paying reduced contributions. A financial assessment form (available from the school office) must first be completed, which will be followed by a discussion with the contributions mandate holder.
Deposit when joining the school A deposit is payable when a child starts in the school. This will be returned when the child leaves provided all amounts outstanding have been paid. The deposit is £600 for a first child and £300 for second and subsequent children. When a first child is starting in nursery the deposit is £300 initially, rising to £600 upon entry to kindergarten.
Further costs during each year These include occasional outings and major class trips, special items to be bought (recorders, calculators and certain text books) and Class 10 exams. There will be advanced warning and discussion of these with the Class Teacher.
