Our school is inspired by the educational insights of the Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner and by the efforts, world-wide, of teachers and parents who have worked with his indications. We believe that the contemporary relevance of the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum can enrich the lives of children, parents and teachers alike. We aim to work with and develop this heritage in order to impart to our children values such as confidence, self-motivation, creativity, an appetite for learning, an ability to work with others, practical skills, tolerance towards others and the ability to adapt and meet change enthusiastically. Our work is an expression of three `golden rules` suggested by Steiner:
To receive the child in gratitude from the world they come from;
To educate the child with love;
And to lead the child into the true freedom which belongs to mankind.
